The idea of revamping the corner shop at Brookside and Glascock began in the Fall of 2024. Justin started the conversation and after much deliberation about the dangers of doing a multi owner project we decided to take the plunge! As proprietors of several businesses in the area we’ve all dedicated our adult life to being a part of Raleigh’s food and beverage community. We felt like this was an opportunity to create a space that speaks to the many surrounding neighborhoods with a small market, sandwich shop, night time tavern and covered patio. Not only that but Justin and Angela’s kids grew up coming here after school when it was Brookside Bodega. To make the project even more centered on the community, Justin put together a group of investors from the neighborhood. We are very proud of the way we’ve constructed the space and sincerely hope it’s a positive addition to Raleigh’s F&B world.
